Upon registering for the Sentiment & Influence API service, you will be given a 36-digit Universally Unique Identifier (UUID). This key acts as your password for API access.
For the purposes of all examples, we’ll use “
00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000” as the API key. In your queries, replace
00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000 with the API key given to you when you sign up.
Note, you will need to encode/escape characters and URLs.
It’s important that the ? preceding the arguments comes AFTER the forward slash, and that the forward slash not be dropped off the URL or the question mark placed directly after it, such as ‘/sentiment?’
